Master of Divinity (M.Div.)

To equip Pastors and Teachers for Urban and Campus Ministries

The Master of Divinity (M.Div.) is a three year postgraduate degree offered in keeping with the latest demands and the standards laid down by the Asia Theological Association (ATA).

This program aims at equipping students with a thorough understanding of the teachings of the Bible to give a total view of life in its spiritual, cultural, political and environmental dimensions.

The program has been designed to equip pastors and teachers for urban and campus ministries and all involved in mission activities of the Church.

Program Specific Requirements

  • Bachelor's DegreeA Bachelor’s degree offered by a recognised university in any discipline for three year programme.
  • Bachelor of Theology - Two Year ProgramB.Th. Degree (Serampore/ATA) with Second Class for Two Year Program
  • Bachelor of Theology - Three Year ProgramB.Th. Degree (Serampore/ATA) with Third Class for Three Year Program

General Requirements

  • ChristianEach applicant should be a confessing Christian with evidence thereof. He/She should be an active member of a local church and possess a good reputation as a true Christian.
  • RecommendationsLetters of recommendation must come from the local pastor, previous institution, and a responsible elder from the church or community (no family members) who have known the applicant for at least three or more years
  • CallingThe applicant must demonstrate a definite call to full-time ministry and willingness to go to unreached areas to make disciples for Christ and plant churches.

Are scholarships available?

Work Scholarship will be granted to deserving students. All students are expected to work daily for one hour or more, if necessary as part of their training.
